infront of the temple walll.. the shape is representative of the sun.. it rises, is up, adn then sets.. all the temples are designed facing certain directions.. many so the light comes in and hits the shrined whatever inside on a certain day of the year.. all the temples representing life are on the east of hte nile (sun rises)..and the tombs are on the west bank (where the sun sets)

oops... guess i put up two of these.. thought i had the picture of me and the pyramids and the camel... except really it was just me.. the base of the pyramids and the handle on the saddle of hte camel.. the egyptians are not good photographers..

ayuttahaya.. cool old ruins.. these were all buddas at one point.. i had to stop adn pray to the big ones in each arch way! haha.. i gave up after a while.. i got tired of bowing three times times a million..

thailand has sooo many cats! little kitten out in the countryside with the hill tribes where i spent the night.. they have cats to keep teh mice away.. and dogs to keep the cats in line..and chickens.. to eat and lay eggs.. and all the other animals running around are just a bonus!
waterfall we hiked to! went swimming in it..but the water was kinda brown.. not quite the same as the pristine beaches i got soo used to!
