scotland update

scotland is so much fun! I had a great time with craig and james.. and enjoyed my first unoffical couch surfing experience! they took me and took good care of me! edinburgh is cool.. really cool..such an old gothic town..the weather adds to the feeling! it rained quite a bit yesterday.. but that didnt slow me down too much. the arts festival is going on and so just walking around theres kids blowing thier faces off on their bagpipes (in kilts of course) and i learned also that they really do go commando under them. its an insult to the scottish culture to wear underwear with ur kilt.. i didnt check to make sure they were all following the rules! i walked through a cemetery and up and down the cobblestone paths completely wandering.. no day is quite the same! today i went for my first run in over 2 months..ive been meaning to exercise since i left california.. it took the sun finally coming out over the beautiful scottish bay scenery to get me to go.. yay! now im off to glasgow to meet a friend from back in the day that i used to go to grade school with.. that should be fun! and then i am offically couch surfing once i get to brussels.. o boy! a free couch! yes! well see how it goes..
